By accessing or using JAB Audit ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
JAB Audit provides forensic billing audit software that identifies potential insurance underpayments by comparing submitted claims against fee schedules. The Platform generates audit reports and appeal letter templates. JAB Audit is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. Results are informational and do not guarantee any specific outcome in claims or appeals.
You must be a licensed healthcare provider, billing company, or authorized representative of a medical practice to use the Platform. By registering, you confirm that your use complies with all applicable laws and regulations, including HIPAA.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate information, including your NPI number. You may not share your account with others. Notify us immediately at hello@jabaudit.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually based on your selected plan. Setup fees are one-time and non-refundable. All fees are as disclosed on the Pricing page at time of purchase. We reserve the right to update pricing with 30 days notice to existing subscribers.
All plans require a minimum commitment period (3 months for monthly plans; 12 months for annual plans). Cancellations take effect at the end of the commitment period. No partial refunds. See our full Cancellation Policy at /cancellation.
You may not use the Platform to submit fraudulent claims data, attempt to circumvent security measures, scrape or reverse-engineer the Platform, violate HIPAA or any applicable law, or harass or harm other users.
All Platform content, software, and methodology — including the audit engine, rebuttal library, and appeal templates — is the intellectual property of JAB Audit LLC. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any Platform content without written permission.
JAB Audit LLC makes no representation, warranty, or guarantee that use of the Platform will result in the recovery of any specific amount of revenue, successful appeal outcomes, or any financial benefit whatsoever. Audit findings, leakage estimates, and appeal recommendations are based solely on data provided by the User and general knowledge of payer patterns, fee schedules, and coding guidelines. Results vary materially based on: (a) the accuracy and completeness of data uploaded by the User; (b) payer-specific contract terms, which JAB Audit does not have access to unless provided by the User; (c) ICD-10 diagnosis codes, clinical documentation, and medical necessity determinations — which are outside the scope of this Platform's analysis; (d) CPT code applicability and modifier requirements, which change periodically per CMS, AMA, and payer policy updates; (e) state-specific insurance regulations and appeal deadlines; (f) individual payer adjudication decisions, which are solely within the payer's discretion; and (g) prior authorization status, coordination of benefits, or other payer-imposed conditions unknown to the Platform. Past audit findings for any provider do not guarantee similar results in future audits. Estimated leakage figures are projections only and do not constitute a promise of recovery.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, JAB AUDIT LLC, JUST ASK BRAD LLC, AND ALL AFFILIATES, SUBSIDIARIES, PARENT COMPANIES, SUCCESSORS, ASSIGNS, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AGENTS, AND LICENSORS (COLLECTIVELY, "THE COMPANY") SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR: (a) any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages; (b) loss of revenue, loss of profits, loss of business, loss of data, or loss of goodwill; (c) damages arising from payer denial, partial payment, recoupment, or audit by any government or private payer; (d) damages arising from the User's reliance on any audit finding, leakage estimate, or appeal letter generated by the Platform; (e) any outcome resulting from a submitted appeal, including but not limited to upheld denials, partial recoveries, or payer-initiated audits triggered by appeal activity; (f) any regulatory action, compliance finding, or government investigation related to billing practices identified through or subsequent to use of the Platform; (g) technical errors, system downtime, data loss, or unauthorized access to User data; or (h) any event outside the Company's reasonable control. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE COMPANY'S TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY TO ANY USER EXCEED THE TOTAL FEES PAID BY THAT USER TO JAB AUDIT LLC IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
Debbie Diaz, in her individual and personal capacity, is not a party to this Agreement and assumes no personal liability for any claim, loss, or damage arising from the User's use of the Platform. All obligations and liabilities, to the extent they exist, rest solely with JAB Audit LLC as a legal entity.
"Brad" is an artificial intelligence assistant powered by large language model technology. Brad is NOT a licensed medical billing professional, certified professional coder (CPC), licensed attorney or legal advisor, CPA, financial advisor, revenue cycle consultant, or a representative or agent of any payer. All output generated by Brad — including audit reports, leakage estimates, CPT code analysis, and appeal letters — constitutes automated informational output only. It does not constitute legal advice, medical advice, coding certification, or a guarantee of claim validity. Users are solely responsible for reviewing all Brad-generated content before submission to any payer, regulatory body, or third party. The lead practitioner's review and approval is required before any appeal letter is submitted. Anthropic PBC, the developer of the underlying AI technology, is not affiliated with JAB Audit LLC, is not a party to this Agreement, and bears no responsibility or liability of any kind for the Platform, its outputs, or the User's reliance thereon.
The Platform is designed for analysis of paid claims submitted under commercial insurance, Medicare, and Medicaid fee schedules. The Company makes no representation that the Platform is suitable for or accurate with respect to: VA CCN, TRICARE, or federal program claims; home health PPS, hospice, or SNF consolidated billing; capitated or value-based care arrangements; workers' compensation claims; out-of-network balance billing disputes; or claims governed by state-specific fee schedules not supported by the Platform. Use of the Platform for excluded claim types is at the User's sole risk. The Company is not liable for inaccurate analysis of unsupported claim categories.
The User is solely responsible for: (a) ensuring the accuracy and completeness of all data uploaded to the Platform; (b) verifying that all appeal letters are factually accurate and supported by clinical documentation before submission; (c) complying with all applicable federal and state laws governing healthcare billing, HIPAA, and fraud and abuse; and (d) any consequences arising from submission of a claim or appeal that the User knew or should have known to be inaccurate, unsupported, or fraudulent. The User agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Company, its officers, affiliates, and personnel from and against any claim, liability, loss, damage, cost, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from: (i) the User's use of the Platform; (ii) the User's breach of these Terms; or (iii) any third-party claim related to the User's billing or appeal activity.
The Company is not responsible for any loss, injury, damage, or consequence — direct or indirect — arising from any cause whatsoever related to or incidental to the User's access to or use of the Platform, including circumstances entirely unrelated to the Platform itself. Use of this Platform is voluntary. You assume all risk.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Hillsborough County, Florida.
