We collect information you provide directly, including your name, email address, National Provider Identifier (NPI), practice name, state, and billing-related data you upload for audit purposes. We also collect usage data such as pages visited, features used, and timestamps.
We use your information to provide and improve the JAB Audit platform, process payments, generate audit reports and appeal letters, communicate with you about your account, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
JAB Audit operates as a HIPAA-compliant Business Associate. We do not store patient-identifying information (names, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, or other PHI). Claim data submitted for audit should be de-identified. By using our platform, you agree to our Business Associate Agreement (BAA). If you have not signed a BAA, contact hello@jabaudit.com.
Your data is stored on secure, encrypted infrastructure. We use industry-standard security practices including encryption at rest and in transit, access controls, and regular security reviews. Uploaded files are processed and may be retained for audit history purposes in accordance with your subscription tier.
We do not sell or rent your data. We may share data with trusted service providers (payment processors, cloud infrastructure) solely to operate the platform. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our legal rights.
We use essential cookies to maintain your session and preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some features may not function properly.
We retain your account data for the duration of your subscription and up to 3 years thereafter for legal and audit purposes. You may request deletion of your data by contacting hello@jabaudit.com. Session data is purged upon request via the Settings page Kill Switch.
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information. To exercise these rights, contact us at hello@jabaudit.com. We will respond within 30 days.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a prominent notice on the platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
